TCAA Kids Ministry

Grade School (1st through 6th)

Connecting parents and young lives to a mature walk with Christ

Our ministry is a place for children of all ages to be safe, receive love and truth, and root their lifelong perception of fun and friendship in the context of God’s people and His Word.

A guiding inquiry for all of our pre-adult ministries is, “If a child were raised here, what would we want to have instilled in him or her by adulthood? What would a successful discipleship journey mean for that child’s life?”

We believe Scripture provides a unified, compelling, and achievable answer: Well-trained Christians live like Jesus lived (1 John 2:6, Eph. 4:13-15, John 15:5-8). Our commitment to you is to hold every interaction we have with your child—from Preschool to High School graduation—against that end goal, honing our touches on his or her life to launch a confident, clear, and compelling disciple-maker into a righteous adult future.

Embark on this journey with us, and we will partner with you to raise a well-trained disciple!

Safety & Learning FAQs

  • We are committed to the safety of every child in our care, at all times. All of our children’s areas are closely monitored by an extensive camera system and a designated security team. Our volunteers are each screened and trained through Protect My Ministry, and our teacher-to-child ratios are always strictly enforced. We also utilize a secure check-in system that ensures your child is only ever released to you!

  • Even at young ages, we believe that children can be discipled. All of our learning curriculum focuses on helping kids memorize key Scriptures, learn foundational truths about God's love and character, and equip them with knowledge of Bible stories and personal ways to experience God and serve Him.

  • Our mornings are complete with Scripture memorization, Bible stories, fun activities geared towards learning, and childhood development. Your child’s class leaders are all screened and trained, fully equipped and working to protect, nurture, and serve you and your child!

  • You may enter at our Children’s Building entrance or through the main lobby, where greeters will direct you to us. Our team will collect your needed information before personally escorting you to your child’s class. A matching nametag set will be printed, denoting important health considerations for your child (allergies, etc.) and ensuring that he or she is only released to you.

  • Our team will walk you through every step of check-in and answer all of your questions, ensuring that you are clear and confident about your child’s care before leaving. After escorting you to your child’s class, our team can direct you to parent programming throughout the church.

  • For the safety of every child, only our background checked and trained volunteers are allowed in children’s classrooms. We will escort you to your child’s class, so that you know exactly where to find them when services end. You can watch your child play and interact with their friends on the security monitors at the front of the Children’s Building. Both our 9am and 11am hours have great worship and community learning available for you as parents!

Sunday Morning Programming

Grade School (1st through 6th)

Children’s Bible Study is available at both 9 and 11am, in the Children’s Building. Each hour hosts a distinct worship experience, so children are welcome to come to both, or to attend Children’s Bible Study one hour and attend the worship service with their families the alternate hour.
