We will be heading back to Beaumont Texas February 17-23, 2018 to help our sister church Bevil Oaks First Baptist Church. As many of you know, Bevil Oaks suffered significant damage by Hurricane Harvey. We sent a team in November to start the cleanup process, but we want to return and provide more assistance to not only the church but the community. For more information click here to obtain the Scoop Sheet that provides all the necessary details to decide if you are interested in going. If you need additional information or have additional questions please contact Wayne Peterson
The addition of our Outdoor Welcome Center and Gaga Ball is almost complete. We have few things left. We are in the process of having counters on casters built for outside, that are welcoming and provide information to members, regular attenders, and guests. When those are complete the Outdoor Welcome Center will be ready.
We are waiting for turf for the Gaga Ball pit that will be a fun way for our kids to get out and have fun with their friends and new youth that come to church.
We are very excited to be winding down and checking off all the items off the TTB list. We are very excitied to use these new tools as a way of fulfilling our Vision: Connecting Lost People to a Mature Walk with Jesus.
We are not completely finished with our remodel. Currently in the works is our out-door Welcome Center and Gaga Ball for the kids. Right now it is just concrete that can be seen, but soon it will be an outer fellowship area that will be great during those cool winter months in AZ. Keep a watch out as the building process continues and we transform the church.
Harvest America was a HUGE success. Even when 1 soul is won over to God we should consider that a HUGE success. In this case many, many souls were won over to God. Thank you for all you did to make this event successful. Glory be to God for He is good all the time.
Check out the numbers!!!
Now that the main sanctuary is complete, we start new phases. Going up now is the playground that our children requested. It is exciting that we will be able to fellowship after service together and our kids will have a playground to play and fellowship on. Conveniently located for parents to watch their kids and fellowship at the same time. Arizona has some beautiful days, once complete, we can stay a little longer and have a picnic on campus as if we were at a park.
Soon we will begin the process on our outdoor Welcome Center and Baptistry.
The “roots of redemption” run deep in the soil of history. In fact, they’re already spread throughout future history by the providence and sovereignty of the Lord. This summer of 2017, we’ll be studying the major characters of the last half of the Book of Genesis. Isaac, Jacob, until the death of Joseph is our line-up for this summer’s study in Genesis. Seeing God’s hand in the past will strengthen our faith for His future work in us, the Church.
Join Us Sundays at 8am, 9:30am and 11am.
Our new playground had it’s Grand Opening on Sunday, June 18th. The kids absolutely loved it. This is one way our children can be a huge part of our mission…Connecting Lost People to a Mature Walk with Jesus. Join us and check it out. The playground will be open every Sunday.
Target UR Living Sermon Series
Daily life has an unparalleled way of widening its offerings to us by the hour. It will quickly offer opportunities to broaden our attention and engage us with so many items that our productivity is missing the most important target in life. The modern-day term “multitasking” insist that we can focus on many things at one time. Even a computer will bog down with multiple things to do at one time. You can’t multitask when shooting an arrow. We are created for one focus. One theme. There will always be offerings and opportunities to invest ourselves into certain cultural themes, go to this place, to get involved in this organization, etc. Rat race. From old technology to the new speed of “smart-life”, we may be less productive than ever before. What if you could do one thing and do it well? Finish the task. Complete the mission.
TARGET UR LIVING is TCAA’s new sermon series to center on what the Lord desires for each of our lives. From our birth to the journey of living until now are we leveling at the intended target the Lord has for our lives? Since we are fearfully and wonderfully made, so how are we using His creation? At this present time are we cultivated to do the Lord’s work? Do we charge ahead with the Gospel of Christ? It’s time to hit the target of God’s will. Jesus will provide powerful, centered aim for each of our careers to unswervingly affect the culture and point people toward the bullseye of what God desires.
You have heard the news, right? We are in our newly renovated worship center! It has been a long journey but one that was guided by the hand of God. He is so faithful. We had our celebration on Sunday, January 29th. We have been in for close to 2 months and the Mission Cafe is already producing. We are currently in the process of planning our first TCAA Mission Trip to Cuba!!! How exciting is that?!?! We are looking forward to many more mission trips that will reap the benefits of Mission Cafe. Remember, our job is to stay faithful to our Vision: Connecting Lost People To A Mature Walk With Jesus. Who wouldn’t want to a part of something AMAZING!
We wouldn’t be here first and foremost without God, He has made everything possible, but we are thankful for all of you. You have given above and beyond your normal giving to make our building happen. The Youth are back in business in their building and we are in ours. Now let’s get to business and make God’s Kingdom bigger through our community involvement and missions locally and globally.
Bear with us as we revamp our Mission Page!
Thank you for all you do. Now get up and GO!
It’s a big, big world. There are many “wide” roads a person can take with their life. There’s narrow way offered too? The Bible says that the way to life is through a narrow, one person gatekeeper – Jesus Christ. He said there’s only one way, there’s only one truth, and there’s only one life. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He also said that no one can go to the Father (God) except through Him. Big World, Narrow Way will uncover the exclusivity in Christ. This Sermon series starts March 26, 2017, in TCAA’s Sunday services: 8 am, 9:30 am, and 11 am.
So…here we are, less then 1 year from the time we made our church commitment to rebuild. Not only did we rebuild the Worship Center, but we made a commitment to rebuild the way we think. We changed our Vision to focus on what matters most, Connecting Lost People To A Mature Walk With Christ. Now it is all complete. We are open and looking forward to a new year in our renovated Worship Center. God has blessed TCAA immensely, with a wonderful congregation who stepped up to see this through, all the helping hands He provided, minimal kinks and our staff. God is Good.
We invite you to stop by Mission Cafe for a delicious cup of coffee. Mission Cafe was opened to provide additional funds to those serving on the Mission field. Some of the proceeds go to support our local and international missions.
