Vision Verse John 13 34-35 NLT “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Thursday Morning Bible Studies Beginning January 17, 2019
9:15am in Building B, ROCK Building.

‘Rachel & Leah’ by Nick Kozairz, led by Kristin Hanson.
How many times have you asked yourself that question? How many times have you felt like you couldn’t measure up no matter how hard you tried?

We’ve all been there.

Over 6 sessions, uncover truths you need to arm yourself with when combatting comparison by studying the biblical account of Rachel & Leah. Learn to be content without becoming complacent, and discover godly wisdom to quiet the incessant Why Her? question in your head. Develop greater awareness of your insecurities, and learn to stop the lies in their tracks. Because the truth will set you free, and free women don’t have to measure up to anyone. Not even her.

Followed by:

‘Jonah’ by Pricilla Shirer, led by Kristin Hanson.
What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible study, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.

‘Revelation Wellness’ by Alisa Keeton, led by Michelle Perrin. CLASS CANCELLED
In The Wellness Revelation, certified fitness professional Alisa Keeton will challenge you to get fit with God so that He can free you to complete your purpose. She explains in an easy to read format that when we get fit physically and spiritually, we are better equipped to love and serve others.

APPS 4 iMoms- Meets in Room 110, Building A at 9:15am

‘Armor of God’ by Priscilla Shirer, led by Sue Cramer.
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.

But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.

Followed by:

‘The Best Yes’ by Lisa Terkuerst, led by Sue Cramer.
Lysa TerKeurst is learning that there is a big difference between saying yes to everyone and saying yes to God. In The Best Yes she will help you: Cure the disease to please with a biblical understanding of the command to love, escape the guilt of disappointing others by learning the secret of the small no, overcome the agony of hard choices by embracing a wisdom based decision-making process, and rise above the rush of endless demands and discover your best yes today.

‘The Gospel of Mark’ by Lisa Harper, led by Susan Record
Throughout his account, Mark unveils a Jesus of unparalleled power and authority but also a Jesus of humility and love. And while this Jesus invites each of us into a greater story through His teachings, He demands we come as active participants. We must acknowledge Him, seek salvation in Him, and follow Him wherever He leads.

In The Gospel of Mark, you’ll follow Jesus through His days of early ministry to the cross and discover what it means to be the recipients of His overflowing compassion and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.
