Women’s Bible Studies

Women Encouraging Women Thursday  Bible studies

Reaching, discipling and mentoring women and girls through the transforming power of Jesus Christ, to live out Christ’s example through consistent prayer and study of God’s word. Teaching and training them to develop their gifts in ministry to effectively change their world for Christ.

Vision Verse John 13 34-35 NLT “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Thursday Morning Bible Studies Beginning August 29, 2019
9:15am in Building A, Room 105.

‘Finding I Am’ by Lysa TerKeurst, led by Kristin Hanson.
What is the deep cry of your heart? The ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this deep, spiritual wrestling, but He also wants to step in and see you through it.

Followed by:

‘The Gospel of Mark’ by Lisa Harper, led by Kristin Hanson.
Throughout his account, Mark unveils a Jesus of unparalleled power and authority but also a Jesus of humility and love. And while this Jesus invites each of us into a greater story through His teachings, He demands we come as active participants. We must acknowledge Him, seek salvation in Him, and follow Him wherever He leads.

In The Gospel of Mark, you’ll follow Jesus through His days of early ministry to the cross and discover what it means to be the recipients of His overflowing compassion and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.

APPS 4 iMoms- Meets in Room 110, Building A at 9:15am

‘We Over Me’ by Whitney Capps, led by Susan Record
It’s easy to get frustrated with the local church—we see the people in the pews up close, both their beauty and blemishes. But God has a purpose and a plan that He uniquely accomplishes in and through the church, and He wants you to be part of it.
In the opening 3 chapters of Revelation, we find a wake-up call directed toward 7 churches and discover the truth of God’s desire for the church. Over 9 sessions, challenge your perspective and embrace your part in helping the church fulfill its calling.
